The Lately are from Appleton, WI and bring a unique blend of Americana music that will knock your socks off. They met at a party, and people told them they looked like a band, so they started one.

Little Earthquakes is a 5-piece musical project from Madison, Wisconsin. Little Earthquakes brings together OGs of the local scene, from bands like Smokin’ with Superman, The Lately, and Purple Veins.

Forming to write shortly before the pandemic, the lockdown proved to be a perfect bubble for the band to find itself without pressure or restrictions. The result shifts easily between danceable grooves, unshakable hooks, quiet interludes, and raucous explorations — a blender mix of early Fiona Apple, Beck, Depeche Mode, Block Party, and Lykke Li — all held together by Annie Kubena’s singular vocal style.
